【摘要】:1.1Thispracticeprovidestablesofdimensionsofpreformedinsulationthatshallbeusedinfabricatingcoversforuseonvalves,ells,tees,flanges,andvesselsinthepressurerangefrom150to1500psi(1to10MPa).Thesetables,whicharepartofthisstandard,arepublishedseparatelyastheASTMRecommendedDimensionalStandardsforFabricationofThermalInsulationFittingCoversforNPSPiping,andVesselLagging.ThetablesprovidedimensionsforuseinformingpipefittingcoversforNPSpipeoperatingathightemperatureandlowtemperature.Thetablesalsoincludedimensionsforuseinformingthermalinsulationintocurvedsegments,andlagging,forapplicationonvessels.Thispracticedoesnotapplytoreflective-typeinsulation.1.2Thispracticedoesnotspecifyfabricationmethods.Thermalinsulationforfittingcoversisformedbynumerousfabricationmethods.Ingeneral,insulationsarecutbycircularorbandsaws,shapedbygrindersormillers,ormolded.Eachmethodhascertainadvantagesanddisadvantages,dependinguponthematerialtobeformed,numberofcutsrequired,materialwastepermissible,andquantityoffittingsbeingproduced.Fittingpartsareassembledusingadhesivesandfabricationcementsappliedusingdippots,rollers,doctorblades,brush,ortrowel,dependinguponthematerialsbeingused.Anyspecificationofthefabricationtechniquesisbeyondthescopeofthisstandard.1.3Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiestwolaboratorytestmethods,basedonslicingandscalingtechniques,todeterminethelong-termchangesinthethermalresistanceofclosed-cell(normally90%)cellularplasticmaterialsthatcontaingaseswhich,throughdiffusionprocesses,affectthepropertiesofafoamwithtime.Usingstandardmethodsforthemeasurementofthermalresistance,methodAconsistsofperiodicmeasurementsperformedoverashorttimeintervalonthinspecimensconditionedinacontrolledambienttemperatureenvironment.Theresultsofrelativechangewithtimeareusedinconjunctionwithamathematicaltechniquetoderivethethermalresistanceofgreaterthicknessesofthematerialasafunctionoftime.MethodBdescribesasimpletesttodetermineaconservativedesignlife-timevalue(25yearsaridlonger)foranunfaced,closed-cell,cellularplasticproduct.Thismethodislimitedcurrentlytounfacedhomogeneousmaterials.Forthismethod,multiplespecimensofthecoreandsurfacesofmaterialswithvariationsintheslopeoftheprimarystagethermalresistivityandatimerelationshipoflessthan10%withinasampleareconsideredtobehomogeneous.Generally,productswithnaturalskinsorwithdensitydeviationsnormallyfoundwithsuchproductsmaybeconsideredacceptablefortestbythistechnique.
