【摘要】:Thispracticeoutlinesamethodforthedeterminationofbromineandchlorine,aloneortogether.CIIRandBIIRrubberscontainsmallamountsofchlorineandbromineandCRrubberscontainlargeamountsofchlorine.Forqualitycontrolandresearchanddevelopment,itissometimesnecessarytodeterminetheamountofthesehalogensinrubber.Thispracticecanbeusedforthesepurposes.1.1Thispracticecoversthedeterminationofbromineandchlorineinrubber.1.2ThisprocedureisapplicabletoraworcuredNR,SBR,BR,IR,IIR,CIIR,BIIR,andEPDMrubbersandblendsofthese.1.3Iodineinterferes,butsubstancessuchasZn2+,S,CN,and(CO3)2donot.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesinparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecificsafetyprecautionsaregiveninSection7.
