【摘要】:ThepurposeofthisTechnicalReportistoexplainthechangesrelatingtopowermeasurementsintherevisededitionsofISO8980-1[6]andISO8980-2[7].Inordertoillustratetheissuesraised,aninter-laboratorypowermeasurementstudywasconductedontendifferentlensesmeasuredbynineorganizationsworldwide.Twenty-fivefocimetersofdifferenttypeswereused.Thetestlensesweresphericallypoweredallyldiglycolcarbonate(ADC)1)hardresinlensessurfacedto–4,00D,–2,00D,0,00D,+2,00D,and+4,00D,eachwithanadditionpowerof2,50D.FivewereD28bifocalsandfivewereprogressivepowerlenses.Themeasurementswerefrontdistancepower,frontnearpower,backdistancepowerandbacknearpower,foreachlensandforeachfocimeterused.Eachlenswasmeasuredninetimes:fivemeasurementstakenwithoutrepositioningthelensandfourmeasurementstakenwiththelensrepositionedeachtime.Theassessedparametersweredividedintothreecategories:discrepanciesduetofocimeterdesignandmeasurementmethods;systematicerrors;randomerrors.Foreachparameter,experimentalresultsaregiven,aswellastheoreticaloneswhenneeded.Measurementdataincludefrontdistanceportionpower,frontnearportionpower,backdistanceportionpowerandbacknearportionpower.NOTETheresultsofallmeasurementsareavailableontheISOTCServerattheaddressgivenintheBibliography[8].Unlessstatedotherwise,inordertoshowrelevantinformation,theresultsshownarefortheD28bifocalswhennodifferentbehaviourwasfoundfortheprogressivepowerlenses.
